Snack!!!! and Chocolate!!!

Lately some of my colleagues just came back from their home leaves. Normally we have informal tradision here. For those who just back from their country, they will share us their country made snack. This time, one just back from Japan and another one back from Canada.

I have a lot of japanese colleagues here and they brought variety of japanese snack/pastry to us but everytime i forgot to snap the photos before i ate them....hahahha....they are so delicious and tasty. i like them very much. Anyway, this time i have to hold my hunger to take a few shoot before have them in my stomach....kekekekkeke......

Unfortunately, this time the snack that he brought is not so nice for display. But i can't denied that their creativity is so amaze to make various features of pastry and it is so tasty especially those tiny bun(馒头). Yummy!!! The chocolate also sweet and i love chocolate very much....hehehe

The indian colleague who just back from canada brought us the chocolate chip bar. I think it is quite tasty too. So far i haven't taste chocolate from canada yet. =PAnyway, due to like chocolate so much, i always buy a lot of chocolate when i back to KL. Most of the time i will buy from airport duty free zone as there are many choices. =)

But in qatar also have one place to buy Swiss chocolate that i couldn't get it in the airport duty free zone. This chocolate very nice and alot of my colleagues buy this back to their country as souveniors. Same to me. hehehehehe.....

Shopping in Doha - Villagio and Old Zouq

Yesterday i promised my 2 japanese colleagues to join them for doha shopping. Because one of them will return to japan for vacations. He need to buy something as souveniours to his gf, colleagues, friends and family in japan. Actually nothing we can buy as souveniours. Everything is quite expensive. The only we can get is either coffee beans, chocolates, or dates.

Anyway, i still manage to go to famous old market in qatar (Zouq) and snap some pictures for sharing.

Due to is friday noon(praying time for muslim), all shops are closed and no one is around....Lol...

Unique buildings as I couldn't see it in my country. The surface of the buildings look rough and not flat.

Ok, now go to shop at shopping mall (Villagio). This is the shopping mall (Villagio) in doha with Venice theme as the design. I found quite a numbers of shopping mall using Venice background as attraction. I saw my friend who just visited hong kong lately also shopped at similar shopping mall like this.

There is an ice skating court also.

The decoration of this shopping mall is abit look like new wing of sunway pyramid in Malaysia. Same idea for the decoration i think......hmm.....

My lovely iPod and newly bought speaker ^^

Long time didn't write a blog. Really busy lately. I think i will keep on busy till end of this project. sigh....i think will take more than 2 months to suffer from now onwards.

Anyway, today would like to share my lovely ipod to everyone. Why today suddenly have mood to do so? hahahha....because i just got my new speaker for my ipod. I ask my japanese colleague to buy for me from Japan.

This is the newly bought speaker(photo shown below). Need to elaborate abit here. This tiny speaker i just got from my japanese colleague. He went for his home leaves and i requested him to look for a speaker for my ipod. Really appreciate his effort-(Karube-san).

This tiny speaker's design is a block (like Lego that we used to play last time). I like this speaker because it doesn't require any battery to power on the speaker and is tiny. Really convenient to bring along.

草食男???

Today, while i read newspaper and accidently found a new term (草食男) which is quite interesting to share. It is a famous term in Japan nowadays. I have google this term and the explanation as follow:

草食男,日本流行的一个新名词.就是像食草动物一样,他们友善温和,但在婚恋关系上却总少了些男子汉应有的主动.他们最大的特征就是不会积极主动地去追求,而喜欢保持不温不火的步调和女孩子在一起,甚至于交往多年,二人连手都不会牵过.80、90后的男人越来越多地具备了"草食性"倾向.

The place I stay in Qatar

Since i work in Qatar so long and lot of my friends sure curious about my life in Qatar. So today want to share some photos to you. The area that i stay addressed as camp. You will know why they called that after the explaination below. lol.

The picture below is typical building where we stay. It consists of 24 rooms with each bathroom, fridge, TV set, table, cupboard, chair, and bed. It look simple, just like those dorm in your school days.

Actually here provide a lot of facilities, such as gym room, tennis court (photo) beach volley court (photo),

swimming pool (photo) , pingpong table, etc. There is a place to rent DVDs (FOC of coz) too.

Due to the location here is middle east, it is rare to get to see green plant like this. Hahaha...They put a lot of efforts to get these grown up. If you compare with the first and the last pic, then you will know what i mean. lol.The picture shown below is the shutter bus that pick us up to and flo site office due to the long distance. It is way too far to walk. That's why I can see this kind of buses cross around the road almost everywhere in qatar.
Well...I don't know what should i need to tell now. Anyway, i welcome your comments so that i can improve my blog in the future. ^^ CHeers!!!!

Maxis Updates

Yesterday got feedback from Maxis finally. What a sad story to say that the rate will remain as high as what i mentioned earlier. sigh. That's mean i don't dare to pick up incoming while i am still in Qatar with this Maxis no.

But luckily Maxis still able to deduct some for me so i won't lost too much for those incoming calls that without my notice of the new rate. At least Maxis not really bad after all. But still i am quite disappointed about the new rates. It is way too expensive for me, i think not only for me, a lot of people will feel the same.

Anyway, i still feel release to settle this issue at last. ^^

Maxis sucks!!!!!

Damn it Maxis!!!!!! Today i checked my maxis statement and surprisingly the rate for roaming is exponentially increased. Everyone have to beware and check your statement carefully. I am the victim now.

Last time, for roaming in Qatar, the incoming call charged me RM2.50 per min but now the damn Maxis charged me RM10 per min. That is 5 times more than the previous rate. Bloody hell... And now the sms is RM2 per msg (roaming).

This is really not acceptable. They didn't even inform consumers like us for the latest rate. How we gonna safeguard our rights and interests???? It is really unfair to consumers like us. I am not sure whether they have rights to change the rates/charges without our notices but that is definitely not fair to us.

They didn't even provide a list of charges for roaming. How we gonna get to know the rate when we need to travel abroad? The only way is to call them to clarify everytime before we depart? I am really disappointed with the way they make business. Suckssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annoy!!! 烦!!!

Don't know what happen to me lately....feel so annoyed. Maybe recently everything also not running smooth. Sigh....I hate this kind of feeling. Now can sense some pressure on me already. Don't know what to do now.

It seem my life is getting bored n borde n bored. NO sparks in my life. What a dull life...sigh....don't know still need to keep this for how long. I am not sure I am making the right choice. Money is important? Way to enjoy life is important? or family matters more important?

No wonder my grey hair keep growing, too many responisibility and commitments put on my shoulders. Sometimes need someone who really understand me to share my problems but hard to find. Only me know myself better. Sigh.....
